Class Supplies
Please encourage your child to share any books or information he/she may have at home that deal with ocean life (seaweed), immagration (lacquer ware), Japanese folktakes (urashima taro-washi box), noh masks (kirigimi), hiragana, katakana, kanji and obon.
Please have your child bring the following supplies in a box labeled with your child's name. The box will stay in the class for the whole session.
- an old shirt or paint smock
- pencils and erasers
- scissors (that will cut cloth)
- bottle of liquid glue (small)
- gluestick (2 minimum)
- markers (both fine and broad tips)
- handheld pencil sharpener (optional)
- black or blue pen
- straight edge
